So after some thought, I've decided I would be changing Ty's species. Because I have been irritated when it comes to drawing his head and I did want some more variety in my characters, I decided I'd be changing Ty into the first Pokemon that non fire typepopped into my mind that I like and that happened to be Umbreon. I felt like it was time for a bit of change so I hope everyone likes the new Ty!Basic InfoName

: Ty is usually a very friendly and cheerful Umbreon, known for his optimism and fun-loving attitude. He loves to surround himself with others, being very sociable, though some could get annoyed with his hyperactive behavior at times. Overall Ty is a real geek, finding huge interest in anything audio/visual related, video gaming, and other things the Umbreon doesn't hold back from others, being very open and willing to share. Often times Ty does struggle to focus and pay attention especially when uninterested. Ty also seems to be easily distracted at times as well and can be a bit impatient at times, not usually liking to stay still or wait. Ty is also known to be quite cowardly and sensitive and sometimes might even keep things bottled up when really upset, even feeling insecure. Since he has changed into an Umbreon, Ty has been feeling a little more secure with himself and thanks to his Synchronize ability, Ty has also had an increased sense of empathy. He can connect with others easier thanks to this and this has helped enhance his sweet nature in a way.History:
Ty was born in Goldenrod City to a family of two loving Typhlosion parents, being the middle child in the family to a younger Cyndaquil brother an an older Quilava sister. Tyson, or as he very much prefers to called, Ty was usually very optimistic as a child, a bit on the hyperactive side though. The Cyndaquil's parents often would tell others how much of a handful their son Ty was usually out and about with his friends and would frequently wind up getting in trouble thanks to their pranks and winding up with various injuries while playing. Though is parents never though about it, Ty's teachers in elementary school seemed to notice though a couple traits that seemed to suggest the Cyndaquil had ADHD, something doctors later confirmed after noticing he seemed to have trouble paying attention at times(especially when uninterested), seemed kinda hyperactive, and usually felt a need to keep himself busy with anything. The Cyndaquil never felt though he was different from other students, even his own friends he often spend time exploring, playing video games, watching tv, or pulling pranks with.
As Ty grew older, some rather big changes occurred in his life, including something he never expected to happen: evolution. When Ty woke up on his 14th birthday that October morning, he was shocked and surprised to see he had evolved into a Quilava overnight. Sure he had some battle experience while training with his friends, but he never expected to evolve like this, thinking Pokemon only evolved in battle or by evolution stones. His family was so surprised and Ty even boasted a bit about his evolution, especially to his friends who were still in their first stage, being a Buizel, Totodile, and Sneasel. He wanted to show off all his new skills he thought he had, though he got a bit carried away and ended up injuring himself as he tried doing a Flame Wheel down a hill though he hit a bump on the way down. He ended up spraining his arm from a hard collision with the ground, though much to his surprise, a young Flareon girl his age came to his aid. This was how Ty met his first girlfriend, later forming a relationship with this Flareon a couple weeks after the accident.
Though Ty had a girlfriend now who he really grew close to over the past year and a half and he didn't really seem to change much as a person, though he seemed to be slightly more calm. The Quilava had entered Goldenrod City High School and found things to be much harder than expected than it was in middle school. While he tried his best to work hard, he still had trouble focusing and understanding the information he was presented with, even dozing off in the back of the classroom. On top of this he seemed to be more focused on spending time with his girlfriend, often leading him to procrastinate on his homework more often than he usually would in middle school. When his teachers noticed the Quilava's grades were falling, they suggested to Ty's parents that he got a few tutors to help him out, thinking this would be good for the Quilava. Ty kinda objected a bit because this now meant he'd have to spend an extra hour at school three times a week, taking away time from his girlfriend, his video games, and his girlfriend. Though it was very difficult for Ty to adjust to this change, his parents, friends, and girlfriend encouraged him to do better, his parents even giving him extra time to stay out on the weekends.
One day a rather shocking event happened to the young Quilava when his girlfriend announced she was leaving Goldenrod City to move to Petalburg City in Hoenn. The Quilava tried convincing her to go into a long distance relationship, though she just couldn't do it. Though they ended their relationship on good terms, Ty had a lot of trouble accepting that she was gone and that they couldn't be together. Ty fell into a brief depression after the break up and though he'd tell others he was fine, he was having a tough time coping with it. He didn't really talk to others much for a bit, keeping his emotions bottled up and often locking himself up in his room, turning up his stereo or turning his tv way up. His family really was starting to worry about him, seeing he wasn't acting his usual cheerful self for the past couple weeks and his grades were slipping again after he managed to go from D's to B's prior to the break up. His family got together with his friends and held an intervention, trying to figure out what was wrong with the Quilava, all suspecting it had something to do with the break up. Though Ty tried to deny most of what was said, he eventually broke down and finally let out all those bottled up emotions. Now that Ty was finally expressing the sorrow he felt and how much trouble he was having, his family found it easier to help him out.
Within a few days Ty was finally starting to pull through and began to open himself up to others again, trying to spend time with his friends and family again. He slowly grew back to his normal self, spending time with his friends again, even starting to shoot a few videos to put up on the net, an idea his friends thought could cheer him up more as they acted out scenes from tv shows or created their own movies. Ty's grades however were still pretty low and the 2nd quarter was nearing its end. His previous slump seemed to really affect his grades and it came time for yet again another parent-teacher conference. Much to Ty's surprise, discussion about his grades led to something he did not expect. His teachers and parents thought a new fresh start would be good for him at a school on an island far away from home. The next term at the Armonia Institute was just starting up and Ty's parents and teachers thought it would be a better idea for him to travel there. Ty agreed to be enrolled as his parents quickly sent in an application and met with the headmistress before sending the young Quilava on his way after saying goodbye. It would take time getting used to being away from his home in Goldenrod City, though Ty told himself he'd try to make the most of this and try to do better and not procrastinate often.
Feeling disappointed in himself, Ty thought that maybe turning into a new Pokemon could maybe help him a bit. He went to Mew's Forest with Zai, Juniper, Paige, and Zane, though he tried convincing them he was only doing a fabricated extra credit assignment. When they arrived, Juniper kicked him into the pool and he was turned into an Umbreon. Will this be a new start for himself?Abilities and MovesAbility
